Christmas 1987
After several years of talking about it and doing nothing, we created our first photo Christmas card in 1987. As with all the cards which have followed, we took the photograph ourselves—setting the timer and running around to get in the frame. The signs originally had little arrows coming away like in a cartoon strip text box. Once we got in the studio, we knew that they would be hard to position right while still getting a good close picture for the card so we cut them off.
