Christmas 1988
In 1988, we hiked the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine in the
six months from March 2 to September 1. This photo was taken just as the
sun came up on the summit of Katahdin at the end of our hike and was taken
by Peter Scal who was also finishing an A.T. thru-hike.
