In late 2005, Frank and Griffin served as the curators for an online exhibit for the Episcopal Church and the Visual Arts. Called Venite Adoremus, which means Come Let Us Adore Him, the art was to be inspired by the hymns of Advent and Christmas. At right is the Christmas Card we created from Griffin's Matisse-style paper cut out of Mary and Jesus was created to illustrate the hymn Silent Night, Holy Night with its well known verse,
Silent night, holy night,
all is calm, all is bright
round yon virgin
mother and child.
Holy infant, so tender and mild,
sleep in heavenly peace,
sleep in heavenly peace. We did get the cards printed by Christmas 2005, but we didn't have the time to mail them out. A year later, we sent out Griffin's original art as our 2005-2006 Christmas card. The art exhibit remains online at Venite Adoremus.
