Biography

In more than two decades of writing for newspapers, regional and national magazines, I have brought my own perspective and style to a variety of feature subjects. My additional work as an author of two driving guides and other books related to hiking and the outdoors has allowed me to hone my craft.

This site is designed to introduce editors to my professional experience as a writer, while giving readers some of my latest writing here online.

I have written three books of my own and am the co-author, with my husband, Frank, of seven others. The two of us have well over 100,000 books in print.

Some of my recent feature stories have included Breast Cancer Survivors, DayTripping Little Saint Simons Island, Kayaking the Golden Isles, and Cumberland Island. And two recent Brunswick News articles in Adobe .PDF format are on Cross-County Commuting, a pastor taking a sabbatical in Nigeria, a father and son with different theologies finding a common purpose in ministry, and one pastor's take on evangelical atheists.
